The fact that they have military kit and helmets on with the Canadian flag and the weapons is a dead giveaway it’s military and not police in my opinion. Especially when contrasted at the police that are there that say for example “York Region” the military guys “police” script is just Velcro. The assault rifles most definitely have suppressors on them. Could be sound or flash. There is no such thing as a “silencer”. It’s a common misnomer. many European countries actually require them by law to keep legal gun noise down to a respectable Db level.
